The error code doesn't really tell you much.
5.XXX.XXX Permanent Failure
A permanent failure is one which is not likely to be resolved
by resending the message in the current form. Some change to
the message or the destination must be made for successful
delivery.
X.4.0 Other or undefined network or routing status
Something went wrong with the networking, but it is not clear
what the problem is, or the problem cannot be well expressed
with any of the other provided detail codes.
Can you send to others OK?
You appear to have a Hotmail e-mail address. Can you send to this
person via the Hotmail web site?
You mention trying to send via 2 different SMTP servers. You are
generally limited to using the SMTP mail server of the ISP that you are
currently connected to the Internet via.

Trying to send from Italy to an american address an email with a
little attachment, I receive these error message:
These recipients of your message have been processed by the mail
server:
ja**@ja*******.com; Failed; 5.4.0 (other or undefined network or
routing status)
What about it? Receiving addres would be ok. I tried sending by two
different SMTP (alice.it and eutelia.it) but i always receive that
error message
How can i do?
Can i check validity of that address (but really I suppose it would be
ok...) ???
thanks.
