What changes did you make in your default account?

Do you have more than one mail account set up in OE?

Once you enter your password, are you able to successfully download your
mail?

What kind of account is it? POP3, HTTP (Hotmail/MSN) or IMAP?

When you look at Servers tab, does the password show some dots? In any
case, retype your password and click the APPLY button.

hello helpers,

i recently changed my default email account in oe6. Since then when
i start oe6, ( downloading my email)
i am getting prompted for my logon information. now in oe6
tools-account clicking the account--properties
--servers tab the remember password is checked.

i searched for an answer in this group and tried this(2x):
