Outlook Espress 6 problem after mail retrevial and then BSOD

I had just completed a download from the server of my email this AM
when right after the last email showed up in the window pain as I was
quickly reading the content my putter crashed with a BSOD. I rebooted
and opened outlook expecting to find the emails in place only to find
that everything from last and back was in place but that the most
current downloaded emails are missing. I tried to get them off the
server again but they were gone. I spent a couple hours doing research
and ran a couple programs to try to locate the missing emails. No luck.
Are they in a temp folder? They were taken off the server but cannot
be located on my local HD to my ability. All the dbx files are intact
and not corrupted. Any help would be appreciated.
