My family uses the Google homepage provided via Microsoft Internet
Explorer.

The page has been replaced by an advertisement for spy ware blocker.
If we log off and back on we get explicit porno photos with the same
advertisement.

Our children are seeing these images. We need help. We are only
basically computer savvy and this virus is very sophisticated. The
first thing that happened was that our MacAfee virus protection was
turned off and we couldn't restart it. We went to the Microsoft and
Google sites and downloaded Norton, Firefox, and Microsoft anti-viral.
Running Norton did not detect the virus.

The virus has also disabled (grayed out) our ability to respond to
posts from folks trying to help us. A thoughtful GORDON asked if we
had any protection at all. We had no way to respond to him. If you
answer this post please e-mail the reply to thomas.bolcar@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Only the scullycat computer is infected. The other machine is not
networked to it.

Please help us. We have a real SOB here and need the best to beat
him.

Merry Christmas.
