Are you getting any error messages when you try to open the pictures?
Since you posted in this newsgroup I'll assume that they e-mailed the
images to you rather than downloading from the web.
If you have a small one, you can e-mail it to me and I'll take a look at
it to see if there is anything unusual about it.
What mail program are you using to receive the message?

I don't know that Netscape has native support for TIFF files.
TIFF are for professional photo editors and there are lots of
variations. So you might need some additional add-ons. Check with
the
sender to see if they are doing anything unusual with the file.

I have downloaded them aand retried in photoshop.The only way they
can
be
viewed (opened) is by using the fax viewer.
I am using XP home & Netscape 7.2
