Hotmail with Outlook Express Question

    Anyone else having this problem? Trying to download mail, get an error,
    error is as follows:

    Configuration:
       Account: <snip>
       Server: http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
       User name: <snip>@hotmail.com
       Protocol: HTTPMail
       Port: 0
       Secure(SSL): 0
       Code: 80004005

    I can get there via the web interface, it's sooner than the planned date of
    forcing me to upgrade or just use the web interface, and it's happening on
    all the computers in the house. Which, I should add, is not that unusual as
    my connection here is usually pretty lousy. I can access any other email
    account. My thoughts are that it could be either their servers or it could
    be my ISP which is not really that good but I haven't many choices and
    though they really aren't good they do have good support and service, the
    reason they aren't good is they won't spend a great deal of money and put in
    new lines so that I can get DSL. So what if I'm the only house around for
    miles? Give me DSL! Ah well... But, basically, all I want to know is if
    anyone else is having troubles as this has been happening here all day and
    no amount of tinkering has helped. I want to know if it's me or them so that
    I don't waste more time tinkering.
