There's "Windows XP" and "Windows 2000". I'm not aware of a "windows xp professional
2000".

For missing messages in Outlook Express, take a look at:
http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/problems/bugs.htm#mailgone

When you mention going to the Internet, to look at messages, I presume that you are using
a web based mail site such as Hotmail via IE6.

Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with IE6
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser

You can also get to the Internet Explorer newsgroups via this web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx
There select Internet Applications then Internet Explorer

For further help

Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with OE6
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

You can also get to the Outlook Express newsgroups via this web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx
There select Internet Technologies then Internet Explorer

You will find out information about issues affecting Outlook Express 5/6 at:
