AOL users have their own set of problems. My mom has AOL friends who forward
her email that was forwarded to them six, or eight times. Stop doing that.
Doesn't AOL let you remove the sender headers? Strip the message down to the
nitty gritty?

Anyway, the problem isn't with MSOE, but the operator. Windows Update does
not add any address to the Blocked Sender list. If it is returning to their
Blocked Sender list after they clear it, then they have a registry problem
which is preventing them from making edits and changes.

Unfortunately, you probably can't relay what their problem is for them. Your
own post shows a fundamental lack of understand about how these things work.
Not to mention the fact that there is no way to guaranty that you would
transmit the advice given accurately.

Please do not take offense; computers are not toasters where you just plop
in a piece of bread, push a lever, and wait for it to produce results. Alas.
But the problem is on their end, and they will need to come here and try to
explain it for themselves.

Oh, and these are interactive groups. I am only replying by email because
your message implies that you think they are "read-only" groups. Normally,
all replies are made to the thread in the group, and you are expected to
come back in an hour, or a day, or so, and check for responses. Others may
not be so kind as to even offer advice if they think that the requester
won't be back to read it. Just point your browser back to the same place you
came before, and use the "Search" button to search for all messages with the
same subject as this one.
