And furthermore, I demand that all mail servers work like this...

When an incoming email arrives from an unknown sender to a client
served by the mail server, that server will place the incoming email on
"hold" and send an automated reply to the sender.

That automated reply will instruct the sender to reply by typing a
codeword (given in the body of the email) into the subject line of the
reply.

Only when that reply is received by the server will the sender become
"kown" for all future mail received (so that the sender doesn't have to
do this for every email sent to that recipient), and the original mail
on "hold" be delivered to the recipient.

I DEMAND that this functionality be built into EVERY mail server
software released from this day forward!!!
