I was having the exact same problem many have reported on
the Microsoft Newsgroup regarding getting a message saying
something like "OE removed access to the following unsafe
attachments." I finally ran across another post that
might help you fix it. Launch Oulook Express version 6
(OE 6) and go to "Tools", then "Options", then
the "Security" tab, then look for tthe check-mark box
saying "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened
that could potentially be a virus." Uncheck that box, hit
the "OK" button at the bottom and you should be able to
read all those attachments - not only future ones, but the
ones you already have that wouldn't open before, too. Of
course, you are then suseptible to getting a virus in an
attachment again, but at least you will be able to read
what you got. Anti-virus software (such as Norton,
McAfee, etc.) is recommended to prevent getting any
viruses after you do this.
Best of luck.
