problems collecting mail from Outlook Express

Since the recent changes to Yahoo, I have had several
sessions with the following error messages, and
consequent failure to collect emails:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your
Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.btopenworld.com',
Server: 'mail.btopenworld.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR maildrop busy.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

I am also getting
"Checking for new messages on 'mail.btopenworld.com' .
"Receiving message 1 of 6"
but no messages come through.
This is despite no change in the password, and many other
occasions when emails have been collected using the same
password entered automatically.
The messages have come through after a delay of over 10
minutes.
What's the problem, and when will MS fix it?
