This all started when a friend had his emailaddy@msn.com.
Computer Tech came over to fix something and now he claims
it don't work. (Windows 98)
what I've found out since:
He needs to go to windows update and update old outlook
express and option for http server (MSN) will show up.
Old versions of Express you have select http server, Other
and manualy type in
http://services.msn.com/svs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
I have found out since..that those that used to pay a
monthly fee for msn service. used to have a dialup or
POP/SmMTP settings. It has now been switched to http
servers.
Although I see posts where some are using
smtp.email.msn.com (you have to be a paying subscriber
for this to work.
Hope this helps somebody out besides myself...
