clicking sound in IE

How do I turn off the sound when you click on a link or go to a new web
page (via the 'back' button, for example), but still leave other sounds
on. Basically, I want to listen to a CD using WMP while I surf the web
without hearing the clicking noise every time I go to a new page. I'm
using IE7 but I dont' know that it matters.THX.
