Hi,

Can anyone tell me why up to now Microsoft
internet Explorer still does not support
server push jpeg images as produced by
streaming WebCams? Back in '96 while
Netscape still was the #1 browser,
server push jpeg images were already
supported, as for all Mozilla compatible
browsers up to now in MMIV.

Is it a M$ strategy to limit it's browser
functionality and hope software developers
or WebCam companies will only support their
Windows Media format?

Unfortunately companies that build innovative
products such as Axis, are limited by M$ to
use ActiveX plug-in components for their
products to work together with Internet
Explorer, for example their Linux embedded
