Indexing problem
hello,
I have a Intranet running on a IIS web running 2003 server, pack 1. I
have a front page of the web a policies and procedures of all the depts
in the company. The problem I'm having is that everytime I reboot the
server for any updates I have to reindex the catalog again.
for Example: Indexing Service - all - directories I only want to
include in catalog is c:\inetpub\wwwroot\policies but every time I
reboot there is a C:\inetpub\wwwroot include with it too which I have
to go in the indexing service to say NO to that.
Why everytime I reboot the server I have to go to indexing service to
not to include C:\inetpub\wwwroot . Is there anyway to keep it that
way or is it a bug in IIS running 2003 server with service pack 1.
I hope i'm example it correctly. Could anyone help.
Thanks,
.
