Jordan,
Not sure if Index Service adheres to some of the modern rules for
search software...if it does try using a <noindex> </noindex> tag
around the header: http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/faq.html#noindex
.. If it doesn't, maybe you can get into the indexing pipeline, and
ignore the tags around the nav header, when Index Service crawls the
content.
