Indexing server do not index shared folders on remote machines

Hello all,
I want to add some shared folders in another machine on the same domain

to a catalog in my computer. I used following parameters;
path = \\Othermachinename\sharedfoldername
username= domainName\username
password = 'a valid password'

I can access that machine with these username and password from mine

and view the documents in side the shared folders.
But I cant search them using the above catalog Indexing Service Query

Form .
Can some one please help me? Are there any special settings I have to

use here?

Thanks in advance.
