Index server and Header and Footer Text?

Hi all,

I have got a search page on our intranet and I am trying to
fine tune the results. The problem I am having is when I do
a search and the results are returned they include text
that is in the Header and the Footer of the document and I
would like to exclude these from the results. Is there any
way this can be done?
