I've written a web application for a client which relies on Index
Server for it's search. Since writing this I've discovered that the
entire web application (including the document repository that we need
to search) is to be stored on a NAS. Having investigated this a little,
I was led to believe that it would be possible to index the NAS as a
network share, however, after setting this up the search returns no
results - both through the web app and also through MMC.

Is this actually possible or have I been deceived? If so what do I need
to do to get it working?

Kind Regards,

Tim
