The user that you specify as the connect as user for the shared folder is
used to determine whether results are returned or not.
So basically all results will be returned.

| I have set up indexing services and an asp search page..
| all works ok on local searches from asp page and when i
| run queries on network directories from within IIS - Query
| Form.

| My problem is trying to run queries on network directory
| from asp page. I get no results found all the time. Would
| this be consistent with a lack of access to network
| drive/documents for default internet user on network drive?

| The system admin team here have said that read access for
| IUSR_*** on the shared network drive has been set up but
| it has made no difference.
