Re: Certificate problem

I have resolved this. My cert did not have a private key attached :-|

I'm having an issue with a certificate I recently renewed and I am not sure how to go about troubleshooting the problem. The certificate has been imported into the Personal Cert store.

I then select "Replace Certificate" in IIS but when trying to connect using Opera I get the following error:

"Secure connection: fatal error (40). Failed to connect to server. The reason may be that the encryption methods supported by the server are not enabled in the security preferences."

Using Firefox I get:

"The connection has terminated unexpectedly. The browser connected successfully but the connection was interrupted while transferring information."

If I replace the certificate with the expired one then refresh, the web site appears. I have tried "Removing" the certificate then re-importing the new one but to no avail. iisreset and full server reboot has done nothing.

Any tips would be great!

Cheers,
Dennis.
