server 2008r2 windows media

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

the newest version of the server when I down load the x64 file or admin
console...it says update not required??? Can someone provide the link for
the media server that will work with r2? a lot of the documentation is
referring to old versions of the server...thanks
I have tried the server forums but no one answers. Does Microsoft ever
check these questions?? They are the only ones that know.
