    1: IIS does not care about DNS at all. IIS recevies a request, and
    responds to that request. How the request got to the webserver does not
    matter (for IIS).

    I'm not sure what you mean by IP involved in the setup. IIS listens on a
    port, on an IP. You can configure IIS to listen on all IPs, or only the
    defined IPs.

    2: Do you mean that you want to find out the URL of a file stored in the
    folder C:\inetpub\wwwroot\folder1\file.htm on the file system?

    If wwwroot is the root of the website (you can changed this), the URL
    would be

    http://localhost/folder1/file.htm
