Thanks Ken, I do _not_ believe that DLL is okay. It was written as a freeware
component by a company that is no longer in operation. I was about to begin
replacing it, but then the third hang shows the same error box in a
completely different component. The error messages were similar enough that I
wonder if there wasn't some other issue causing these objects to throw a
message box. Seems strange!
