No, it doesn't. No router understands the host header.

No again. You have a single IP, you can't route the same IP and port
to two separate systems.

2 IP's is the proper solution. As for the 1721 handling it, call your
Cisco reseller or ask Cisco, it's their router and software (also
depends on whether you're running PIX on the router).
