Hello NG,

since yesterday we experience a strange behavior of the IIS / IIS Admin
Service. The Log in the EventViewer tells us:
Error:
The IIS Admin Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2
time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 1 milliseconds:
Run the configured recovery program.

Error:
The World Wide Web Publishing Service service terminated unexpectedly. It
has done this 2 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0
milliseconds: Restart the service.

Error:
The IIS Admin Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 3
time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No
action.

Error:
The World Wide Web Publishing Service service terminated unexpectedly. It
has done this 3 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0
milliseconds: No action.

Information:
IIS kill command received from user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. The logged data is
the status code. For additional information specific to this message please

IIS stop command received from user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. The logged data is

This happened within 10 Seconds and the services kept running afterwards in
this case.

It happened twice so far, that these services were dead afterwards so we had
to reboot the server, which has never been necessary so far for the past two
years!!!

The server is up-to-date in terms of patches.

What's going on here? Can anybody help us?
