I know it is determined by the client side machine. What I basically want is
to open the .log file using notepad. When i put a mime type entry on IIS as
text/plain, on the browser side I am getting an error saying that the file in
my temporary folder does not exist and if the mime entry is set to text/html,
on clicking the link for the .log file i get the content of the file as a
html inside the browser. Similarly with the .zip file if I click on the link
IE opens up the zip archieve using winzip with no zip entries listed inside
the archieve. But if i save and open the zip i can see the contents of the
zip file.

Does anyone know what i am bumping into here?
