Hi,
I have an asp application which was recently deployed on a windows 2003
server from a windows 2000 server.
The application has some reports which are run in word, csv , html, excel
etc.
After the deployment all the asp pages are coming up including the reports
except for the excel one.
The excel report is generated using Excel automation from a visual basic 6.0
component which then gets called in the asp page.
Everytime I try to access the report the page just hangs and nothing shows
up.
The only error logged in the event log is
Error: The Template Persistent Cache initialization failed for Application
Pool 'DefaultAppPool' because of the following error: Could not create a Disk
Cache Sub-directory for the Application Pool. The data may have additional
error codes.
I don't have problem accessing any other asp pages just this one.
Does any one have an idea what might be causing this? Any help or pointer
would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
jbhan
