Hi,
I would like to disable the caching of files on through the IIS
Internet services manager.

As I am on a standalone machine and do not have the bandwidth and user
constraints as the Production server, I cannot determine what the
effect would be if I disables the IIS caching.

This is with regards to updating websites and having files and or
directories locked for extend periods of time, this is a tiresome task
having to wait for the server to release these files, which effects my
inability to do updates.

Would anyone have any idea on what kind of performance degration there
would be on a production server with the IIS caching feature
disabled??

My site on the production server gets approximately 40,000 hits per
month. The server may get about 100,000 hits per month.

Any assistance on this would be appreciated,

Jack Wayne
