Curious on what lead you to compression, being a possible fix. Do you
have high Network utilization? I have used IIS 6.0 compression and
fould that it does worker very well. I can't remember if it was in a
MS webcast or tech article, but I remember seeing something about
compression and SSL not working best togther. Have you looked to see
if any queuing is happening in ASP.NET. I would suggest increasing
worker process for the application pool. This has help our environment
performance adn capacity.
