Hi,

You can not run IIS6 on Windows XP.

In "Services" administrative tool, there is no IIS service. There are a
number of separate services that IIS uses. The core service is called
IISAdmin, and there are other services depending on what else you have
installed (eg MS SMTP Service, World Wide Web Publishing Service). If there
is no IISAdmin service, then I suspect that your IIS is not installed
correctly. Can you check in the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel -> Windows
Components to see if IIS is installed? If it is installed, can you check in
your Windows Event Log to see if there's any events logged that might
indicate why IIS is not starting.

Thanks

Cheers
Ken
