I'm not much more knowledgeable with IIS than you are, but since you're not
using a router any longer, than perhaps your default website's ip is no
longer valid. There is a setting for default website that allows you to
specify the IP address or 9All unassigned0 if you wish to use any unassigned
ip address as the default website's ip address. Sorry if i don't know what
i'm talking about.
