One of our websites crashes randomly and puts the following in the event
viewer:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: COM+
Event Category: SVC
Event ID: 4194
Date: 11/8/2004
Time: 9:19:56 AM

Description:
The system has called a custom component and that component has failed and
generated an exception. This indicates a problem with the custom component.
Notify the developer of this component that a failure has occurred and
provide them with the information below.
Component Prog ID:
Server Application ID: {0644789A-2099-406C-BAAF-8D42217CA8AB}

The serious nature of this error has caused the process to terminate.

Is the process crashing when it tries to create a new thread? I can run
IISState in crash mode if it will give more information than this.

I did a search on this event ID, but did not find any with a similar call
stack.

Does anyone have any thoughts? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Pete Conlan
