Additional info.
I have the virtual directory set to Allow Anonymous Access. However, I
noticed that Integrated Windows Authentication was also checked. Hmm, this
should not be necessary so I unchecked it. In other words, I am allowing
complete anonymous access, and indeed I insist that all accesses to the site
be anonymous.
Now I can't even browse to the page using localhost, or 127.0.0.1! What's
going on here? I have a local IIS directory defined on my own machine,
mapped to a folder on my own machine. I have the site set to allow anonymous
access and to use the standard user IUSR_YOSSI to access resources from that
folder, but unless I supply my own credentials (via Integrated Windows
Authentication) I can't access this!
What am I missing here?
Thanks,
