Hi Roland, thanks for jumping in!

I honestly don't know that I could recall all the things I've tried. I had
made one attempt with virtual directories, but don't remember the specifics
of failing to get that working.

Most of my attempts have been focused on physical subdirectories of the ftp
site's home folder. These have included defining the FTP site as using
Isolated Users as well as attempts to set up as a "standard" site. I've
tried with folders directly off the root and contained within a subfolder
named "local", I think (whatever the msdn instructions read).

Playing with the permissions, I was finding that if I didn't give access to
the root, the user couldn't log in. Giving minimal rights allowed them to
move around all the subfolders.

I have not yet tried this yet, but I do recall on the prior Win2K server
there was some need to remove many of the accounts that I assume IIS/FTP
defaults to having security rights to the folders, e.g., SYSTEM.

Thanks again,

John
