Ok, if it's work locally but not remotely. it could be networking issue and
etc.
first, ensure that from remote network, you able to connect to the ftp
server.
- try ping (assume your firewall/etc allow ping)
- enter this command at command prompt 'telnet yourip 21', do you see "220
Microsoft FTP Service" or connection can't be established ? if later case
meaning ftp is not accessible, either blocked by you or isp or etc.
