- I have followed all of the MS technets to no avail.
- I have verified nothing is running on port 443 via netstat -an AND via
TCPView from SysInternals.
- I have tried the disablesocketspooling.
- I have tried clearing the securebindings.
- I have made sure nothing is bound to "all ip addresses"
- I have gone as far as uninstalling Certificate Server, reinstalling and
regenerating all new certificates. Yes we are creating our own Certs
since this is just for our employees.
- I have double and triple checked nothing has port 443 open.
- If I remove the certificate and don't allow the web site to have SSL
then no error, but as soon as I assign the certificate I get the binding
problem.
- I have examined the metadata and don't see a problem.
- The only thing we can remember happening prior to this is the latest
security updates, .NET updates, Data Access updates were installed via the
Web interface to Microsoft.
So at this point I think the update may have something to do with it, but
I can't prove it and wouldn't know which stink'n update may have effected
it as there were a bunch of security updates.
We need to get this going again asap and look forward to your thoughts and
recommendations.
Thanks in advance... Greg.
