Hello,
Client certificates should work on Windows XP also. What is the error you
see when using this feature? Do clients get prompted to choose a client
cert? What happens after they choose the certificate? Be sure to turn off
friendly http error messages in the browser (IE->Tools-> Internet Options->
Show friendly http error messages), close and open a new browser window and
paste the exact error message. Also, check in the IIS log to make sure the
request was logged in and what the response from the server was.
