Hello Jeff
Well, you wouldn't believe it but there were two issues
that were causing the problems.
1. I typed the name of the Host Header Value different in
the advanced tab in IIS than the CNAME in DNS. ==== thats
why FP couldn't resolve the site name to publish the pages.
2. my default page was called index.asp and the default
content document in the list on IIS documents tab was
still index.htm.
So, I am now able to get to my site via any workstation's
IE browser and publish it from FP so things are almost
cool.
Jeff, do you know much about troubleshooting SQL Database
Connectors that display results in your ASP pages?
The page displays this error in it's table body;
"Database Results Wizard Error
The operation failed. If this continues, please contact
your server administrator."
And the Application event log shows an EventID 5 error
like this;
"Error: The Template Persistent Cache initialization
failed for Application Pool 'DefaultAppPool' because of
the following error: Could not create a Disk Cache Sub-
directory for the Application Pool. The data may have
additional error codes.."
Event 5 is normally related to rights issues so how do I
find out what or who needs what rights?
