This is what we noticed in the event log: (infact in the application log
right before the problem occured).

EventID : 1002

The Shell Stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.exe was restarted.

IIS State we did not run continuously. so I have not much from the log which
says that something happened at the time the problem occurs.

Meher

The shell stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.exe was restarted.
