Error Id 36

I have a laptop where I have Win XP pro, IS 5 asp .Net 1 and 1.1, VS 2002 and
2003.
this morning I tried to browse one of the we sites I developed on my server,
I got a message indicating that I have no .Net setup on my machine.
I opened the IIS mmc, and for the first time I see the the node
myMachineNem(LocalComputer), clicking on it, everything disapPeared (web
sites, smtp , ftpservice, ...........)
I opened the service ***, saw WWW service has not started, i ried to start
it, I get the following error essage : Could not start the WWW Publishing
service on local computer. Error 3: The system cannot find the path
specified.

What could have done that ? I wondered what path is not found? IIS ADMIN
service above
has Running status
I re-run IIS setup on my machine. kaunching html pages work fine, but when I
launch an asp or asp .net page I get teh folowing error
"Server Application Error"

I noticed that Error ID = 36 is reported in my event
viewer with the following descrption :
"The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC'. The error was 'The
specified metadata was not found.
'. "

After looking on differnet web sites and reading some good articles
especially on aspfaq.om, I discovered that MSDTC service doesn't exist
anymore in my services
I understood I should launch the dtcsetup. Where can I find this exe and how
should I proceed.
