Dedicated NIC versus two IP's on one NIC there's no difference. Two
virtual directories *may* have a difference, but nobody will ever know
until you set it up and test it. There's no "general" rule of thumb,
and it's very likely that other issues will lead to performance
bottlenecks before this ever would.
