Erik,

I've been having this problem too... even on a slow machine, but this
seems to work.

1. Go to IIS 6.0 mmc->Application
Pools->DefaultAppPool->Properties->Performance->Web Garden

2. Increase the value of "Maximum number of worker processes"

Let me know if this works for you. Then I can put the
issue to bed.
