JS on your page should not cause IIS to crash. That Javascript is
downloaded and executed on the client-browser, so the server has nothing to
do with it other than send it on the download.
I recommend you ask the server administrator to troubleshoot his unstable
server using IIS State EXACTLY when the server is hanging/crashing.

Without access to the server's state when it has problems, it is nearly
impossible to figure out what is going wrong.
