Hello Chris,
Lets try the following steps:
1) Create a new asp page named sample.asp
2) Edit it in notepad and have the following code
response.write "ASP works"
3) Save it and try browsing to this page.
4) Be sure to have friendly http error messages turned off in IE and note
the error
5) Also check the Event viewer for any errors/warnings.
You should have a pretty good idea from 4) and 5) what the problem could be.
Refer to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;309051 for
more troubleshooting steps.
Thanks,
Yogita Manghnani
