I did not create a virtual directory. I have under the
server name(level): appl pool, websites and web service
extentions. I have under Websites: mydomain and sharept.
When I setup this server up I compared the IIS6 setting as
come as I could to another server running IIS4. The site
comes up but you have to log in if you want to view the
public stuff(port 80). I also noticed that when I go
intranet to the site I have to authenicate.
The log in is OK for now but I am getting ready to go live
and need to get rid of the authenicating.
Thanks!!!!!!
