Hi Pat,
Upgrading the MDAC from 2.7 to 2.8 did not fix the bug. So, we
consider moving to MSDE as you advised. But, we need to be sure enough
that the bug will disappear ! Or my boss could beat me ;)
So, IYO is it possible that the bug be created by incorrect ASP code
somewhat ? Or by bad ADO use ? We also have some VB DLLs with ASP and
ADO.
There is no other symptoms than :
- IIS stopping serving ASP pages
- IIS working again after DllHost being closed in the task manager, or
the site unloaded in the Internet service manager.
