There are certain things that users listed as Operators can do. Unfortunately, you still have to be
part of the Administrators group in order to add virtual directories. For more information, please

| I am trying to give my students access to add sqlxml virtual directories to their virtual hosts via
terminal services with their domain credentials as authentication. However, the IIS and SQLXML
management tools will not run unless I give them administrator access, which is a problem. Has anyone
else encountered this? If so, what permissions did you give to your remote desktop users to fix it?
