I did read that KB article earlier today and was thinking it may be OK however after reading through the comments in the blog that Peter forwarded me to i think i may go ahead with re-running exchange setup and SP2 plus any patches as the server does have a few minor problems that could be mapi / dll related that i didnt mention in my original post as i was just after some initial feelers from the community before i went ahead with any big decisions. ... You can remove Outlook if you want, however reinstalling Exchange seems to be an too extreme.If it's not broke and working fine, why mess with it. ...
