Hi,

I have to questions, and am hoping I will find some answer here.

1. How to configure a web application to use a directory on a mapped drive. In other words how to install a web application a directory(web apps virtual directory) on a mapped drive. This is to avoid directory traversal attacks, Microsoft suggeted to use a drive mapped and install the web application on that drive.
2. Is it secure to use the default website or is it needed to create a seperate web site to install a secure web application?

Any information is greately appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Srini
